Yes. MetroGnome is free and supported by ads, and an ad will never interrupt you while the metronome is running. A single one-time in-app purchase removes every ad forever — it is not a subscription, and it follows you to your other devices.
Does it work offline?
Completely. The metronome, pattern editor and tuner all run on your device. No account, no login, no server-side anything.
Does the tuner record me?
No. The microphone is used only by the tuner, and audio is analyzed in memory on your device with our own pitch-detection engine. Nothing is recorded, stored or transmitted — audio never leaves your phone.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet — MetroGnome for Android is coming soon. Today the app is available for iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 or later) on the App Store.
